Mobility projects for learners and staff enables beneficiaries to travel to another participating country in order to study, work, teach, train or develop professional skills and competences. Under Erasmus+ mobility activities are project-based and will need to be led by organisations. Individuals are no longer able to apply. more

Strategic Partnerships in the field of education, training and youth are collaborative projects allowing organisations to improve provision, tackle common issues and share innovative practice. Under Erasmus+ one organisation will lead the project and manage the activities and funding on behalf of the partnership. Different sizes of partnership are possible so that smaller organisations can get involved. more

Youth Structured Dialogue projects will facilitate discussions between youth policy makers and young people on chosen themes. This project type is based on the current Action 5.1 of the Youth in Action programme ‘Meetings of young people and those responsible for youth policy’. more

OUR ORGANIZATION

The 1st Patras Laboratory Center is a big size modular organization with significant administrative and educational job.It supports 6 vocational schools (1st, 3rd, 7th, 9th Vocational School of Patras) as well the Vocational Schools of Paralia and Kato Achaia. Additionally, it supports the Patras and Western Achaias Training Centers. Lab Centers in general have an important role in VET system as they cover exclusively the laboratorius needs for both VET and General Education. The Lab Centers also support the recently introduced apprenticeship system in VET.

OUR VISION

The main objective of our organization is to provide chances for the staff and the apprentices to have training periods in EU in order to improve their personal and professional development. We give opportunities to young people to acquaint modern skills and we encourage them to cross borders to enjoy learning. We try to familiarize them with modern tools for the recognition of the training periods and work in details with reliable partners to organise tailor made projects that meet the their specific technical needs.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Working with and for people is the most challenging duty. We work in two basic axis:

We search for the real needs of the staff and apprentices.

We design projects that will cover them.

We have have developed a systemic method to detect the modern technical issues that are not covered properly from the current curriculum and we design projects to provide informal training on them.
